What happens to the medical data I process with Monsana?
The medical data is used to check if a patient is eligible for a clinical trial. It’s not stored or shared with others. Everything remains confidential and no data is used for AI model training.

Does Monsana store patient data long-term?
No. Monsana only temporarily processes data to check eligibility and does not keep patient information after the session ends.

Do I need patient consent to use Monsana?
As it is part of a doctor’s responsibility to consider all suitable treatment options, including whether a patient might benefit from joining a clinical trial, using Monsana to check eligibility is a natural extension of that duty.

This falls under what’s known as legitimate interest, because the potential benefits for patients, like access to new therapies, outweigh the minimal risks of processing their data, provided it’s handled safely and responsibly.

Of course, patients have the option to opt out.

Is Monsana a diagnostic tool?
No. Monsana helps you quickly check if a patient may qualify for a clinical trial. It does not diagnose or make medical decisions.
