Monsana received funding to develop Monsana Search for Pediatrics

We are excited to announce that Monsana has been awarded funding by the Health Data Agency (HDA) to further develop Monsana Search. Monsana Search is an advanced Generative AI search engine that enables doctors to upload a patient’s medical records, scan national and international trial databases, and identify the best-matching clinical trial options for each individual.

Our initial focus will be on pediatrics, where the need for faster access to innovative treatments is especially urgent. Monsana Search revolutionizes how doctors find relevant clinical studies by automatically analyzing patient records, including unstructured notes and diverse clinical documents, and matching them with both national and international trial databases. The platform then provides clear, transparent matching scores for each potential study, eliminating the time-consuming and often inefficient manual search process.

The first phase will launch at Universitair Ziekenhuis Gent (UZ Gent) in collaboration with the Belgian Pediatric Clinical Research Network (BPCRN). This pilot aims to demonstrate how Monsana Search can streamline clinical trial matching, helping physicians find eligible trials more quickly and improving patient access to novel therapies.

Following the pediatric rollout, we plan to extend Monsana Search to additional therapeutic areas, continuing our mission to make clinical trial access smarter, faster, and more patient-centric.

We are grateful to our partners at UZ Gent and BPCRN for their collaboration and share their commitment to transforming clinical trial participation. Together, we are making meaningful progress towards a future where every patient can benefit from timely access to innovative treatments.
